Extension Trainer for Standalone and Grid Connected Application.
Technical Description of the extension Trainer
The extension trainer contains two components: component for standalone application and a
component for grid connected application.
The component for the standalone application shall contain the following descriptions or
functions:
An extension for Solar Module resource
electrical components for photovoltaic standalone operation from practice
circuit board with integrated measuring points for current and voltage
Combiner box with DC switch‐disconnected and over voltage protection
Charge regulator with integrated maximum power point tracking
accumulator for storage of solar electricity
inverter for use of AC consumers
socket with energy meter
The component for the grid connected application shall contain the following descriptions or
functions:
An extension for Solar Module resource
electrical Components for grid connected usage of photovoltaic
combiner box with DC switch‐disconnector and over voltage protection
inverter for grid operation with maximum power point tracker
two way energy meter connecting to the mains grid
socket with energy meter for own consumption
1.6 Technical Specification of the extension Trainer
The component for the standalone application shall contain the following technical
specification:
DC switch‐disconnector: max. current: 30A, rated voltage: 1000V
Over voltage protection: ‐ rated impulse current 20kA
Charge Regulator: charge current: 20A, charge stop voltage: 14V
Inverter: input voltage: 12V, output power: 150W
Accumulator: rated voltage: 12V, rated capacity: 12Ah
