HYDRAULIC BENCH, Gravimetric
This is a basic unit which provides water
supply and gravimetric measurement services for use in conjunction with
other accessories for specific experiments. (separately supplied)
The bench top is flat and has a water outlet connection, water
discharge tube as well as drain holes. A measuring tank is hung on a
cantilever beam. An adjustable tare weight and known weights are
provided. When the water in the measuring tank exceeds the set weight,
the beam will tilt and the measuring tank automatically discharges to
the main storage tank. The bench top and storage tank are made from
fiber glass. The unit is on a steel frame on wheels.
