MULTIFUNCTIONAL FREEZE-DRYING PILOT PLANT.
INTRODUCTION
Freeze drying or sublimation drying is a process enabling to dry a product previously frozen, under high vacuum. This pilot plant is designed to carry out freeze-drying tests on small quantities of food products.
TRAINING PROGRAM
This unit enables to deepen the following issues:
• Freeze-drying process control versus the following
operational parameters:
- residual pressure
- power of the electric heater
- product typology
