Technical Description of the Trainer System
The Solar cell measurement trainer system must include the following descriptions or functions:
Trainer with four solar cells and bypass diodes that can be freely interconnected
Regulated Peltier module for controlling the solar cell temperature
Adjustable illuminance
Software with tutorials and data on load profiles for recording characteristic curves
Be able to study physical behavior of solar cells under varying illuminance and
temperature
Recording of currentâ€voltage curves
Calculating current strength and achievable output
Illustrate how illuminance and temperature affect the curves
Able to Interconnect solar cells in parallel and series connection
Able to study the effect of bypass diodes
Able to investigate Power degradation due to shading
